a-void
A downloadable game for Windows
Use VoidBot4000 to escape the destructive nothingness.
When you start the game, you will control a robot and a drone. The goal of the game is to get from the starting point to the end of the level.
There are no enemies in the game, but if your robot leaves the reality field created by the drone and other sources, you die and start the level over.
If you at any point feel like you are stuck and can't figure out where to go, try moving the drone around while keeping the robot in a reality field and see what changes.
The game was made in 45h for Nordic Game Jam 2026

Cool concept, managed to beat it, but it is very hard!
some feedback;
- could have used a clearer feedback when i was getting closer to the "void", so i would know to back off. I think that was the main thing making it unfairly hard, because i would just instantly die instead of getting a warning first
- even for a short game like this, having a checkpoint or something midway through might be nice
Awesome that you played and beat it!
I think all features/mechanics need better telegraphing in general.
It's also difficult to figure out how the drone is connected to the fuses and torches. The mechanic is there but the level design and implementation needs tweaks. In best game jam manner :D
I don't agree with the checkpoints - think super meat boy, it might suck at times but it also adds to the intensity.
